Is there anything to add to the VP debate discussion? Probably not. Sarah Palin’s star rose as she looked into the camera and was not a complete nincompoop and fell as she avoided questions and stuck to her talking points. Joe Biden? Was Joe Biden there too?

I could not read the transcripts of the VP debate objectively. Where did my anti-Sarah viewpoint come from? Was it the Tina Fey skits or the Katie Couric interview? Maybe something picked up from the blogosphere, like a virus that you can’t see?

And by the way… have you read some of the comments that people post out there in web world? There is a VERY SCARY group of humans with internet access… and they could be sitting just over there at the other end of the cafe. Shit, that guy keeps looking this way!

I think Palin’s quite likeable. Her politics scare me, and her shallowness alarms me, but on the personal level, I think she’d be interesting to talk with over a burger or two.
