When I started this blog several days ago, my intention was to write every day about something that made me grumble and something that made me grin. What I have found is that I am a lot more ‘grumbly’ than ‘grinny’. The blog is very young, so this could just be a reflection of my mood over the last few days (and, yes, it is that time of the month). So here is a slightly forced, concerted effort to notice those things that have made me grin since yesterday:
- The Red Sox beat the Blue Jays behind some great pitching by Wakefield
- My morning mocha at Vicki Lees always makes me smile!
- Chocolate chip ice cream for dinner… ice cream is a sure-fire, grin producer
- New grass is growing in the holes left by visiting puppy, Sunny
- Latest DVD: The Amazing Mrs Pritchard
Okay, this is pretty lame but I am feeling kind of low what with the current state of affairs here and abroad. We are going to New York City in a little while to celebrate the 80th b-day of Michael’s uncle. Maybe I will be feeling more optimistic tomorrow.
